Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use onewebpage.co.uk or buy a one-page website from One Webpage ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them before you pay or send us content.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

1. Agreement

By using this website, sending an enquiry, starting checkout, or sending us content for a site, you agree to these terms. If you are accepting them for a business, you confirm you have authority to do so.

These terms cover our marketing site and the paid website service. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy. Cookies are covered in our Cookie Policy.

2. Who we are

One Webpage is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and operates onewebpage.co.uk.

Questions about these terms: hello@onewebpage.co.uk.

3. The service

We design, host, and look after a one-page website for your business. The current plan is £49 per month. The price that applies to you is the price shown on our site and confirmed at checkout.

A paid subscription includes:

  • A one-page website built from the content you supply
  • Hosting, HTTPS, and routine maintenance
  • A domain name, either one we register for you or one you already own and ask us to connect
  • A business email address on that domain, where the plan includes it
  • Small content updates, such as a phone number, opening hours, or a short text change

Extra pages, a redesign, or a larger change of content are outside the monthly plan. We will quote those before we start.

We aim to put a site live within 7 days of receiving the content, photos, and access we need. That timing depends on you sending usable material, and on domain or email setup outside our control. We will tell you if something is holding the launch up.

4. Example sites

The demo sites on onewebpage.co.ukare examples. The businesses, reviews, prices, phone numbers, and photos on those pages are for illustration. They are not an offer of those businesses' services, and they are not your website until we build one for you.

5. Your content

You are responsible for the text, photos, logos, prices, and other material you send us. You confirm that:

  • You have the right to use that material on a public website
  • It does not infringe someone else's copyright, trade mark, or other rights
  • It is accurate in the ways that matter to your customers, including prices, qualifications, and contact details
  • It is lawful to publish in the United Kingdom

We may refuse or remove material that we reasonably believe is unlawful, misleading, or outside what we can host. We may make ordinary editorial changes so the page reads clearly. We will not change the meaning of your services or prices without checking with you.

6. Fees and billing

The subscription is billed monthly in pounds sterling through Stripe. By starting checkout you authorise recurring payments until you cancel. The amount, billing date, and any tax are shown before you pay.

If a payment fails, we may pause work or take the site offline after we have tried to contact you. Service resumes when the payment succeeds.

Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it, or where we agree a refund in writing. If you are a consumer, you may have a 14-day right to cancel a distance contract. If you ask us to start building during that period, you may have to pay for the work already carried out, as the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 allow.

7. Cancellation

There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@onewebpage.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. The site stays online until that date, then we take it offline unless we have agreed a transfer.

We can also end the subscription by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email. We may end it sooner if you break these terms and do not fix the issue within a reasonable time after we write to you, or immediately if the issue is serious (for example unlawful content or non-payment).

8. Domain name and email

If we register a domain as part of the plan, we renew it while your subscription is active and paid. The domain is for your business. If you cancel and want to keep it, email us before the paid period ends and we will help you transfer it, provided the registry allows the transfer and any registry fees are covered.

If you do not ask for a transfer, we may let the domain lapse after the subscription ends. Business email on that domain stops when the subscription ends.

If you already own the domain, you keep it. You authorise us to point it at the site while you are a customer. You can ask us to remove that connection when you cancel.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our site or your hosted page to:

  • Break UK law, or help someone else to do so
  • Publish material you do not have the right to use
  • Mislead customers about who you are or what you sell
  • Send spam, malware, or unsolicited bulk messages
  • Interfere with our systems, other customers, or Stripe checkout

10. Intellectual property

You keep ownership of the content you supply. You give us a licence to use it to build, host, and maintain your site, and to show it to you while we are working.

We own the marketing website, page templates, layout system, and the tools we use to build sites. Your subscription lets you use the finished page while it is hosted by us. It does not transfer our templates or platform to you.

If you cancel, you may ask us for a copy of the text and images you supplied. We will send that within a reasonable time, while we still hold it.

11. Availability and results

We take reasonable care to keep your site online, secure, and backed up. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, domain registry issues, hosting faults, and events outside our control can cause downtime. We will work to restore service within a reasonable time.

We set the page up so search engines can read it. We do not guarantee a particular ranking, a volume of enquiries, or a level of sales. Enquiries sent through your contact form are between you and the person who sent them.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or indirect or consequential loss, whether or not we were advised it might happen. Our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period.

If you are a consumer, you also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These terms do not remove those rights.

13. Other people's services

Payments are handled by Stripe. Hosting, email, domain registration, and analytics may be provided by other companies. Their own terms apply to those parts of the service. We are not responsible for a failure that is entirely theirs, except to the extent we must be under UK law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. If you have a subscription and a change materially reduces what you receive, we will email you before it applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. The courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also use the courts of the country you live in, where the law gives you that choice.

Please email us first if something has gone wrong. We will try to resolve it before either of us starts a claim.
